As in any registered association, the articles of association set the legal and organisational cornerstones and thus determine the orientation of the association.

The most important paragraph of our Articles of Association in this respect is § 2:

2. Purpose of the association
   1. The purpose of the association is to represent and promote the common interests of its members. The association aims to emphasise the importance of enamel as a material to all interested economic and consumer circles through suitable measures.
   2. It achieves this goal through – press and public relations work, – setting up specialist committees and working groups to deal with technical email issues, – collecting specialist literature, – cooperation with all persons and circles interested in the email industry, – cooperation with related associations and European organisations.
